Did you have a good summer? I would love to hear about it, you can email me at amanda@amandareneebishop.com. I thought it would be fun to share a few pictures from mine.
We visited Bear Country USA while in Rapid City, SD for a family reunion.
My hubby and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at a local state park. Don't mind my squinting, I really was happy.

I had high hopes of finishing a book this summer, that did not happen. I was thankful though to finish one play and one skit. Sometimes the process can take longer than we think it should. It's a reminder to me that God is at the wheel and not myself. I write for him and everything is in HIS timing, not mine. This fall, Lord willing, I will be working on a romantic comedy novel and finishing up a play that I started a couple years ago. I hope to share them both with you in the future. Thank you for your support and for following me on this writing ministry journey.
I had a little fun displaying the play that I recently completed.
September 2025
I must admit I was not ready for school to start this year. Yes, I had the curriculum and the schedule planned out, but my heart wasn't ready. You see, summer is my favorite time of the year. A time when schedules seem a bit more free and everyday life doesn't seem so boxed in. Although school has now started and the schedule has began to fill, I am reminded of what a beautiful month September is. A month with warm temperatures during the day and cool crisp evenings at night. A time that helps us transition one season onto the next .
